QGD-10(Z) Energy-Storage-Type Starting Power Supply Unit
Classification:
Product Description
Application scenarios
A certain logistics support unit, based on its experience in routine helicopter maintenance and engine start-up operations, has developed a specialized energy‑storage‑based power supply unit designed to provide reliable start‑up and maintenance support for various helicopter models under harsh, low‑temperature conditions and in the absence of grid power.
| Low-temperature power supply environment at -40°C | No mains power supply situation | Situations Requiring Concealed Power Supply |
Main Features
(1) The power supply unit can be charged via an external 380 VAC power source;
(2) The power supply unit includes a lithium‑battery energy storage module, which can provide power for helicopter start-up or routine maintenance.
(3) In the absence of a battery, the power supply unit automatically switches to mains‑powered mode. Upon connection to a 380 V power source, it can provide power for helicopter start‑up or routine maintenance.
(4) The cells within the lithium‑battery energy storage unit are high‑reliability, high‑energy‑density low‑temperature‑system cells.
(5) The lithium‑battery energy storage unit adopts a modular design and supports battery swapping.
(6) The lithium‑battery energy storage unit is equipped with protection functions against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, and overheating.
(7) The lithium‑battery energy storage unit and the BMS communicate via CAN.
(8) Power supply unit, capable of providing a 220 VAC external power source for external AC power supply;
(9) The control center of the power supply unit can perform start-up and operational control, as well as data monitoring.
(10) The power supply unit can select different output start-up voltages according to varying takeoff conditions, thereby enabling a smooth engine start.
(11) The power supply shall be equipped with protection functions against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, and overheating; in the event of a fault, it shall log the incident and trigger an alarm.
(12) The power supply unit is equipped with mobile casters or rollers and an external electric tow bar, enabling it to be moved via electric traction. A braking system is installed beneath the unit to facilitate parking and stopping.
(13) Each unit within the power supply module compartment adopts a modular design, allowing faulty modules to be replaced individually.
(14) The external wiring harness is retrieved from a dedicated harness compartment in the power supply unit, ready for direct use and capable of being wound using a cable‑hanging device.
(15) The control display and buttons on the power supply unit cabinet enable status monitoring of each component, output control, indication light status management, emergency stop, and power-off operations.
Purpose
This energy-storage‑based start‑up power supply unit is primarily intended to provide power for the routine charging, discharging, starting, and maintenance of a specific helicopter.
Product Advantages
Currently, this energy‑storage‑based start‑up unit features diesel‑generator disconnection, grid‑power disconnection, low noise, infrared stealth, and the ability to operate at temperatures as low as –40°C, thereby supporting large unmanned aerial vehicles in performing start‑up and maintenance‑support missions under challenging conditions.
Performance Metrics
(1) The 28 V lithium‑battery start‑up power supply unit shall meet the helicopter’s requirements for maintenance and inspection power as well as provide sufficient power for at least three 28 V engine start‑ups.
(2) Rated output voltage of the 28V unit: 28.8 V;
(3) Rated output current of the 28V unit: 1800 A;
(4) Maximum output current of the 28V unit: 3000 A at 0.5 s;
(5) Nominal capacity of the 28 V unit battery: ≥120 Ah;
(6) Rated output capacity at 115 V ≥ 10 kVA; peak output capacity at 115 V ≥ 20 kVA for 5 seconds;
(7) 115V output duration ≥ 70 min;
